History:
Uonn is the second-youngest child of the royal family of Ylona, a kingdom located in a valley that bears out to the sea. Due to disputes with ??? they entered into war, which lasted for years. Having grown up with war constantly looming over his future, Uonn was groomed to provide military support to his older brothers. His sister was married off to a distant kingdom (Terreuil) for protection, with all three sisters sent away for the marriage.
At the height of the war, Uonn's brother Hann, serving as a captain to the military, was caught and summarily executed, which prompted retaliation from the Ylon military by the king's command, despite the advice of his war council. This was a terrible move, and would serve as a catalyst for Ylona's later defeat in the war. Another of Uonn's brothers, Nial, was trapped during an ambush, and died of sustained wounds.
Eichner, Uonn's eldest brother, seized power from his father in an attempt to staunch the bleeding the war is costing their kingdom. After engaging with ??? in negotiations, it was agreed that since ???'s king had no daughters to marry and the remaining legitimate Ylon princess viable for royal marriage is not yet of age, Uonn would serve as a guest in ???'s court as a gesture of goodwill until a marriage can be consummated and grant ???'s king rightful claim to Ylona. In the meantime, the Ylon kingdom is placed under a transition state by ???, with ???'s military flooding the kingdom's capital and territories in conquest.
